Texas Football Showcase is a football event focused on helping high school student-athletes and college coaches during the recruiting process. TFS was started in 2008 in Austin, TX by Coach Anthony Williams and Coach Anthony Wood. Both coaches noticed that most major combines only hosted events in Dallas or Houston so they focused on hosting their showcase in Austin and San Antonio originally but have now expanded to Dallas and Houston. We not only help unsigned seniors after signing day, we also help high school underclassmen with the necessary laser combine data that college coaches want during the recruiting process. TFS has helped players earn full scholarships to FBS/FCS programs and also partial scholarships to D2, D3, NAIA, Prep and JUCO programs all over the country! Coach Williams and Coach Wood are passionate about helping all HS football players earn a college degree and play football at any college level because of the impact that experience has on young men's lives.
Our showcase will allow HS football players in and around Texas to TEST. COMPETE. SHOWCASE. in front of college coaches representing D2, D3, NAIA, PREP and JUCO programs from all over the country, either live in person or via a live stream broadcast thanks to www.texanlive.com. College coaches who attend the showcase can coach a specific position, host a recruiting table or walk around and evaluate players during the showcase. They will be provided full contact data, laser testing and access to players during the showcase. College coaches will be served a catered lunch and meet with coaches to share notes on players who attend the showcase. Coaches can confirm which coaches, admissions staff or financial aid will be attending by simply sending an email to Anthony Williams at awilliams@connectedathletics.org. We take feedback from college coaches seriously so we will not have more than 150 players at our showcases, this makes it easier to fully evaluate players and not feel rushed when having conversations with players.
